Embracing your personal brand

Just be yourself. That’s what everyone tells you to do, so why is it so hard? When you look around and see that people are different than you, is it your instinct to try to become more like them? When your path is different than everybody else’s do you try to compensate to fit in? I spent 15 years as a marketing manager and know the power of branding, yet I still resisted the idea of embracing my own personal brand. I had believed that I needed to be like everybody else in order to be successful. The truth: the fact that I was a bit different made people want to work with me. On this episode I share my story.
