30. How to create opportunities for yourself with Gail Banack, Chief Kids Officer at Indigo

by | Oct 25, 2019

Gail Banack is the Vice President Kids AKA Chief Kids Officer at Indigo. I had the pleasure of working with Gail many years ago at Canadian Tire. The thing I admire about Gail the most is her ability to create opportunities for herself. She takes ownership of her own career, seizes every opportunity to move herself forward and also holds the door open for others. In this conversation we talk about risk and how sometimes career moves don’t always work out. Gail was a part of Target’s entry and exit from Canada, she also took a job and realized within the first week that the organization wasn’t a fit for her. She is on the board of Lean In Canada, a mother of 3 and a role model to many. I learned so much from this conversation and am excited to share it with you.
